DJ/producer Mala is a key figure in the British dubstep scene. Along with Coki, he founded the duo Digital Mystikz and the label DMZ 20 years ago, significantly influencing the early dubstep sound. Mala's output is characterized by deep basslines, minimalist rhythms and strong dub influences that create an almost meditative atmosphere – making it the perfect fit for Darwin's bass-heavy, eclectic Reef parties. Berlin-based producer Debmaster has been collaborating with Ugandan-born, Kenyan-based MC Yallah since 2018, with their joint release on Hakuna Kulala pairing the latter's wild vocals with the former's raw riddims. Kevin Martínez aka Niño Árbol is a Mexican DJ and the mind behind the party and label collective Ssensorial. DJ Earl, an integral part of Chicago's footwork and juke scene as a member of the Teklife crew, plays in the Panorama Bar. French DJ/producer Siu Mata has made a name for himself with bass-heavy dembow and innovating variations on dancehall, incorporating influences such as jungle, bass, tribal and trance rhythms into his music.
