Klubnacht

Peder Mannerfelt's multi-layered, adventurous work has earned him a reputation as one of the most prominent eccentrics in electronic music. After several albums as half the duo Roll the Dice, he contributed his production skills to Fever Ray's albums. In the duo Aasthma, he explored the possibilities techno-pop with Pär Grindvik. However, Mannerfelt's musical signature is most distinctive under his own name. In addition to releases on labels such as Voam, Hinge Finger and Numbers, he runs his own platform, Peder Mannerfelt Productions, issuing peak-time techno tracks with a twist. For this weekend's Klubnacht, Mannerfelt will be playing on the Berghain floor. Disko (Not Disko) is a party series at Tokyo club Mitsuki focusing mainly on disco in all its current and past mutations. Its promoter Yamarchy will be joining along with Japanese DJ duo Monkey Timers. Influenced by the sets of DJ Harvey and Idjut Boys in the 00s, they have released their dancefloor-friendly nu-disco creations on labels such as Optimo Music.
