Tomás Garcia Station grew up in Bogotá and Chicago, shaped by the cities' cultural and musical contrasts. He received classical music training on piano and drums at an early age and played in bands ranging from hardcore punk to jazz. Then, a visit to the legendary record store Gramaphone Records in Chicago awakened his fascination for electronic music. During his time in New York, he was a music buyer at Halcyon the Shop as well as a booker and resident at club nights Kolekti and Zodiac Social. After years on the move, he's now based in Brooklyn, where he oversees projects like Jigit – a label and collective he runs with Omer Bil aka O.BEE. Both will be playing PARAMIDA's Love On The Rocks party for the second time tonight at Panorama Bar – alongside other guest DJs such as everybody's darling Seth Troxler and Londoner Jonny Rock, known for his eclectic sets that blend house, disco, Italo and rare tracks from around the world.
