Panorama Bar

  • Courtesy Against Interpretation
  • Josh Caffé B2B Hannah Holland Polari, Batty Bass
  • Ouissam
  • Sedef Adasï Public Possession

Sedef Adasi invites you to another edition of Hamam Nights a Panorama Bar. “I Am Happy That I'm Not Susan Sontag” was the first track on Courtesy's second album, which she released late last year on her then newly founded label, Against Interpretation. The tongue-in-cheek title fits perfectly with her work as a DJ, composer, performer and visual artist, these different aspects combined in a fluid connection. British DJ Hannah Holland is a child of London's queer nightlife scene. In addition to her dancefloor-oriented work, she has also released scores for films by Bruce LaBruce. Her latest album, Last Exit on Bethnal, is the soundtrack to an arthouse film – “a poetic, surreal exploration of dyke power and sexuality set in mythic nightlife,” as Holland describes it. On her label Batty Bass, she has also released tracks by London underground queer icon Josh Caffé, who is also playing tonight.
