9000 Dreams

9000 Dreams is an international party series curated and hosted by DJ/producer Avalon Emerson. Ineffekt is a young Dutch DJ/producer whose techno and house sets are inspired by the experimental pop sensibility of Charli XCX, PC Music and Avalon Emerson herself – from whom he probably learned his technical skills in the early days of his career. Nathan Micay, an enigma within the world of electronic music, will also be playing. In recent years, he has moved away from the DJ touring routine and evolved into a wizard of soundtracking films and series. Tonight, he will be playing one of his now rare sets. The Copenhagen-based Canadian packs cosmic arpeggios with clubby rhythms and cinematic sounds. Likewise, Yu Su's productions and DJ sets bend genres with a flair for the adventurous. On her releases on Technicolor and Music from Memory, she combines influences from ambient, experimental and dub to create immersive soundscapes.
