Jack Your Body

Juliana X was born in Brazil, grew up in Friesland, and has been living in Rotterdam since 2020. Her work combines cultural roots, community work and artistic expression. Musically, she is influenced by Chicago house and Detroit techno: acid lines, driving bass foundations and goddessing vocals with a ghetto-house touch are what keeps her style raw and emotional. Her platform Kult Funktion has helped shape Rotterdam's queer house and techno scene by promoting LGBTQI+, BIPOC and female artists. In October, she was the opener for the premiere of PRAISE, a collaboration between Honey Dijon and the ZO! Gospel Choir during ADE.
