Säule

  • Hekt Live

Ten years after Arc Angel, Luke Slater returns to Ostgut Ton as Planetary Assault Systems with Planetary People. The album, a synthesis of studio work and live experience, solidifies Slater’s status as an architect of polyrhythmic, industrial textures. Tracks like “Into The Night” and the tribal-inspired “Labyrinth” showcase his ability to blend a sense of corrosion with a drive forward. While “Beton Brut” stands out for its architectural harshness, “Ha Jam” reveals a flair for functional funk. In anticipation of the album's release on May 15, Slater will perform live at Berghain for this edition of Klubnacht. Säule will feature a live set by Swedish producer Hekt. With his debut album Forever, out early May on Numbers, he finally breaks free from pure functionality, yet with IDM influences and dubby melancholy, his rhythmic precision remains the defining element. When playing live, Hekt translates these studio nuances into a captivating physical experience with subtle modulations and sonic depth. New York-born, Atlanta-based Kai Alcé is considered one of the most consistent guardians of the deep-house tradition. Through his label NDATL Muzik, he curates a sound that brings soul influences and an affinity for jazz into the present without nostalgic romanticization. Alcé will play tonight at Panorama Bar.
