Patrick Pulsinger is an integral part of European electronic music history. Since the early 90s – including his role as co-founder of Vienna-based label Cheap Records – he has rejected the strict separation between the analog jam spirit, rave anarchism and pop sensibility. In collaboration with Sam Irl, he translates this approach into a live performance that blends classic dub mixing techniques, improvised synthesizer segments, and analog patterns. As the founder of Rhythm Section International, Bradley Zero has earned an excellent reputation as a DJ and selector. His sets flow seamlessly between the syncopations of the London broken-beat school, Afrocentric percussion patterns and vintage house. Today’s Panorama Bar lineup is rounded out by Fabio Monesi, who, through his label Wilson Records, cultivates a love for the raw Chicago sound. Milan-born producer Matisa, who has released on labels such as Optimo Music and Steel City Dance Discs, brings a rhythmically playful approach that bridges Italo house and electro. London-based duo Make A Dance, meanwhile, draws inspiration from the intersection of British rave history, Italo influences and powerful house grooves.
