Klubnacht

Shyam Anand, otherwise known as Snad, straddles the line between Chicago-style house and European-influenced minimal. On releases for labels such as Smallville, Minibar and Running Back, the Berlin-based DJ/producer translates classic house rhythms into a clear, organically flowing soundscape. On his latest release under his alias Spandrel, “Healing Waters”, he layers dreamy pads and speed garage basslines. Snad will be DJing at Panorama Bar this club night alongside his Running Back colleagues Gerd Janson and Roman Flügel. With Beyond The Veil, Belgian Fuse resident Altinbas has just released his Ostgut-Ton debut EP (disclaimer: self-promotion). In tracks like “Entanglement”, he weaves elastic percussion patterns with contemplative soundscapes into an emotionally charged narrative featuring expansive dub textures. Performing live is the Ostgut-Ton act Tobias., whose phenomenal track “Street Knowledge” has just been reissued by Logistic to marks its 20th anniversary.
